Ingredients For DIY Vitamin C Serum
Fresh orange zest: 3 Tablespoon
Mineral water: 9 Teaspoon
100% Pure Vegetable Glycerine: 1.5 Teaspoon
If you do not have oranges then you can use lemon or grapefruit zest.
Preparation for DIY Vitamin C Serum
1- Take orange zest and mineral water in a mixing jar and blend them very well.
2- Filter the blended mixture with the help of muslin cloth, and you will get a fine extract.
3- Add glycerine and mix it very well. your DIY Vitamin C Serum is now ready.
4- Transfer it into a clean and dry dark-colored bottle.
Note: If your skin is very dry then you can add 1/3 teaspoon of Almond oil. You can also add Almond oil in the winter season.
How To Apply
Wash your face and dry it with a towel. Take one teaspoon of DIY Vitamin C Serum and gently massage your face and neck areas. After ten minutes it will be absorbed after that you can apply your night cream on your face and neck
You can also apply it to your hands and feet.
How to Store
This homemade vitamin C serum can be kept for one week in the refrigerator in an airtight bottle of a dark color. After that, make a new batch.
Precautions
1- Before applying it to your face, please conduct a patch test. Pick a small portion of the skin. Apply a small amount of the serum to the inner wrist area, wait 24 hours, and then apply it to your face if there are no side effects. If you get a rash, redness, or hive, don't use it.
2- Store DIY Vitamin C Serum inside the fridge in an air-tight dark color bottle.
3- Shake it well before use.
4- Do not use it in sunlight or daytime.
5- Please don't use it the serum color turns brown color.
6- After using this serum, tighten closely the lid of the bottle and put it into the fridge immediately.
