Ingredients for homemade biryani masala
Spices for roasting and grinding:
- Black cardamom: 4 to 5
- Green cardamom: 10 to 12
- star Anis: 4
- Black peppercorns: 1/2 Tablespoon
- Cloves: 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander seeds: 2 Tablespoon
- Cumin seeds: 2 Teaspoon
- Caraway seeds: 1 Tablespoon
- Carom seeds: 1 Teaspoon
- Bay leaves: 1 broken
- Fennel seeds: 1 Tablespoon
- Nutmeg: 1 large
- Mace: 7 to 8 blades
- Cinnamon sticks: 4 large
- Salt:1 Teaspoon
- Sugar: 1 Tablespoon
Ground Spices:
- Turmeric powder: 2 Tablespoon
- Degi Lal Mirch powder: 4 Tablespoon
- Red chili powder: 6 Tablespoon
- Ginger powder: 1 Teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1 Teaspoon
Whole Spices
- Cloves: 30
- Black peppercorns: 1 Tablespoon
- Dried plums: 10 to 12
- Broken bay leaves: 2
- Black cardamom: 8
- Green cardamom: 8
Making homemade Biryani masala
Step 1:
In the first step of making homemade biryani masala first, we will dry roast whole spices. after roasting will make a fine powder of it.
- Take a frying pan and add black cardamom, broken bay leaf, green cardamom, star Anis, black paper corn cloves, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, caraway seeds, carom seeds, fennel seeds, and broken cinnamon sticks.
- Dry roast all spices on low flame for about 6 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and let it cool down.
- After cooling down all spices transfer them into a mixing grinder jar and add, salt, sugar nutmeg, and mace.
- Grind All ingredients for about 3 to 4 minutes to get a very fine powder.
Step 2
in this step, we will add and mix thoroughly ground spices in the above mixture and add some whole spices and plums.
- Transfer all ground spices from the grinder jar to a mixing bowl.
- Now add red chili powder,, Degi all mirch, ginger powder, and garlic powder then give it a good mix.
- Now add cloves, black peppercorns, broken bay leaves, black cardamom, green cardamom, and dried plums. Mix it well.
- your Homemade biryani masala is ready.
How To Use
This Biryani Masala Powder is enough for 7 to 8 Kg of biryani rice. Add 3 tablespoons of this masala for 1 Kg of rice.
How To Store
