Dry plum, Apricot, and Tamarind Dip
Ingredients For Dry plum, Apricot, and Tamarind Dip
- Dried plum: 125 gram
- Dried apricot: 125 gram
- Tamarind: 25 gram
- Sugar: 1/2cup
- corn flour 1 tablespoon.
- Green cardamom: 4 to 8
- Salt: 1teaspoon or as required
- Chilli flakes: 1 tablespoon or as required
Recipe of dried plum, apricot, and tamarind dip
1-Wash dry plum. tamarind, dry apricot, and dip into the water in a separate bowl for 1 hour.
2- In a pen add soft soaked plum and soaked apricots with water and boil it for 3 to 5 minutes.
3- Turn off the flame cool it down and transfer it to a blender jar and blend it well.
4- With the help of a sieve, filter this mixture separate all seeds, and discard seeds
5- Now turn on the flame again and put the pan on the stove then add sugar, cardamom, and 3/4 cup of water to the pan. Boil it.
6- After that add deseeded tamarind paste, salt, and chili flakes, and stir it.
7- Now dissolve corn flour in water and add this liquid to the sauce on a low flame when it gets boiled, cook it on medium flame until you get the thick consistency as required. Now the dip is ready.
Dry Plum Dip
Ingredients for dry Plum dip
- Dry apricots: 60 gram
- Brown sugar: 1/4 cup
- Sesame seed: 1/4 teaspoons
- Green cardamom: 2
- Funnel seeds: 1 teaspoon
- Corn flour: 1/2 tablespoon
- Apple cider: 3 teaspoons of vinegar
Preparation of dry plum dip
Wash dry apricot and soak it in water for 3 hours.
1-Deseed all soft apricots and transfer them into a blender jar with water and blend very well.
2- Turn on the flame put a pan on the stove and pour the ground mixture of apricots.
3-Add one cup of water and brown sugar and boil it.
4-crush sesame seed funnel seed and green cardamom then add into the apricot dip. Cook it for 5 minutes.
5-dissolve corn flour in two tablespoons of water and pour it into the apricot dip. At this stage also add apple cider vinegar and cook it for 5 minutes on low medium flame. When you get the desired thickness, turn off the flame. Your dry apricot dip is ready.
